Cross Keys Driver Training Services is based in Staffordshire and has been involved in the driver training and road safety field since 1980, delivering a high quality professional service to drive road casualties down through training and education.
The organisation's Manager, Alan Prosser, is a fully qualified approved driver trainer, widely regarded as a leader in the field holding DSA Fleet Trainer Accreditation and the RoSPA Advanced Driver Qualification at Gold Standard. He is the former Head of Road Safety for Derbyshire County Council where he had direct responsibility for the management and development of all aspects of road safety education, training and publicity. He was previously the Road Safety (Training) Manager within Staffordshire County Council's award winning road safety unit where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the driver education programme.
Alan's commitment to road safety has been demonstrated through his involvement as a co-opted member of the Association of National Driver Improvement Scheme Providers (ANDISP). His experience of the National Driver Improvement (NDIS) and National Speed Awareness (NSAS) schemes is unrivalled, having been involved at all levels from development and implementation, to delivery and management of both schemes. Alan is also qualified as an accredited scheme auditor and has been uilised as a Consultant by many organisations including:

Apart from his work within NDIS and NSAS, his experience within the development of driver and rider training initiatives has included:
- Development of Young Driver Education Programmes for delivery in High Schools and Colleges
- Development and delivery of driver training programmes within the corporate market, and for Her Majesty's Armed Forces
- Non-vocational Minibus driver training with assessement
In 2002 Alan completed the BTEC (Edexcel) professional Development Diploma in Acident and Safety Management with Manchester College of Arts and Technology, where his studies were acknowledged with the award for research dissertation of the year for his submission' Speed Awareness Courses, a feasibility study and delivery methodology', for which he subsequently received a Fellowship of the Institute of Road Safety Officers.
